-General Appearance: Unimposing, physically fit, doesn't smile very often. Other 
than SOLDIER battle suit, he wears a nicely fit emerald green suit and tie. 
Street clothes are a pair of beige khakis, dark green collared shirt, 
sunglasses, and runners.

-Personality: Holds in his anger, rarely reveals emotions to any one but close 
friends, highly patient and tolerant, only raises voice when orders are not 
followed, generally friendly to strangers though not the person to initiate 
conversations, and very protective about his some-what of a relationship with 
Claire.

-Background:
	Born in Rocket Town, Erik was always taught by his parents to become 
someone important, someone with a future. At the young age of 13, he was a 
brilliant student, excelling in physics, mathematics and chemistry, which caught 
the attention of ShinRa. They asked Erik to move to Midgar and train to become 
an engineering and pilot. After accepting their offer and finishing his 
education in two years, he accepted a job in Rocket Town, working with on ShinRa 
Space Program 26 with Cid Highwind. Becoming good friends, they spent most of 
their time perfecting the rocket for Cid to become the first man in space.
	Upon the cancellation of the Space Program, Erik decided to take a chance 
at a job he heard about while he was in school: SOLDIER. After being accepted, 
he was trained and later promoted to SOLDIER First Class, then augmented with 
JENOVA injections. Now he is currently the most stable SOLDIER beta in the 
force, but is still kept under close watch. On a mission to find Sephiroth, he 
was wounded and now a diagonal scar is left from Sephiroth's sword. He received 
the nickname "Rooks" for standing up to Sephiroth and not cowering even when 
defeated (came from chess, the rook piece).
	Lately, he has been assigned to President Shinra’s personal guard for the 
opening of the Diamond Saucer, in which he was injured while taking out part of 
the giant spider robot made by Hojo.
