Background: Carla was born in Junon and lived with her parents Alison and Richard Gear, and her older sister Galia. Her parents often had arguments over small things but as the fights got more frequent they intensified in hate. When Carla was 7, the family were going on a family outing when her parents started a large argument, in result, her mother lost concentration of the car and it crashed leaving Galia and Carla shaken but otherwise unharmed, their parents weren’t so lucky. The incident left Galia to fend for her self as well as looking after Carla. A widow took them both in but Carla was restless, her mother always promised her that one day, she’d take her to see the world. A year after her parents sudden departure, Carla meet and joined a small band of performers who traveled around the country-side doing circus shows and living out of tents and caravans. This was the answer to her life-long dream, at last she embraced freedom. She toured form Junon, across the sea to Costa De Sol, passed through the towns including Nibelheim and Corel village to finally break away from them in Wutai. Carla’s sudden change of heart steered her away from her desire to be a circus performer to learning martial arts. Her attention was grasped one day as she was passing the Ninja’s training class and herd random commands being yelled out to a class of boys not much older than herself. She loitered around until the class was finished before nonchalantly entering the room. The old Ninja master turned and caught her in mid-sneak across the room with a big grin on his face. Carla explained that she wanted to train under the best Ninja’s and learn the ways of the mind, body and inner spirit connected to materia. The old man agreed to test her and after a few tests to everyone’s' shock including her own Carla proved to be a worthy adversary and was eagerly accepted to train in the girl's class. She was even given personal training lessons after the routine lessons which also lead her to excel greatly. When she was 15 she was restless yet again and yearned for the open road, and with her natural, once uncontrollable skills now harnessed she had nothing to fear from anyone. As her occasional short wanderings from the school became more frequent, they lengthened and got gradually more dangerous. On one of her wanderings through the rough ‘bush land’ she stumbled across a type of crater which seemed to contain an odd sort of rock in the center. She cautiously approached it and ran her fingertips over the smooth surface it began to move. It was a dragon egg, Carla witnessed its hatching, and a few minutes later a small, dog-sized, green dragon was gazing uncertainly at Carla who, overjoyed, named it Lucifer. As another year passed Carla made her mind to join the elite force dubbed the Turks, her travels lead her to Junon where she now currently lives. Affiliation/organization: Depends on the guy she’s with but is usually on the Turks side doing dirty spy work or stealing things, because of her Ninja training she’s as stealthy as a black cat. Reputation with various groups: Is prized by the Turks for her stealth and fighting for a woman, she sometimes is paid to dance for the Turks after stressful occurrences or big projects gone bust. As for AVALANCHE and BLUFF, they and the other good groups and helpers think it’s disgraceful and degrading but she doesn’t take heed to bad comments about her or her job or personality, she just reminds herself never to help them in a crisis. Lucy hatched and Carla originally called it Lucifer but then she discovered that it was female so she changed it to Lucy. Carla has a phobia of rats so she simply refuses to travel by sewer. Her temper is hot and reasonably quick to burn, which sometimes leads to her own failure while fighting multiple opponents.
